Phi Chi Epsilon Fraternity

Phi Chi Epsilon Fraternity was founded at SUNY Potsdam on October 21, 1983 and officially recognized by Inter-Fraternity Council in 1984. According to the 1988 SUNY Potsdam yearbook they had members from both schools.

At some point the fraternity started a female affiliate group, The Little Chi's, which disbanded in 1988. On November 15, 1991 a beta chapter was founded at Stony Brook University, which appears to still be active today.

On April 14, 2009 SUNY Potsdam withdrew recognition of the fraternity for "violating law and College policy."

    Phi Chi Epsilon is a Local Frat on the campus of UW-Whitewater. We were organized in 1921 and are celebrating our 95th year on campus. If there is a conversation to be had let me know. Ken Johnson - Alum 67 (johnson.ken1944@yahoo.com)
