1965-1974
The Beta chapter of Sigma Tau Psi Fraternity was recognized by State University College at Potsdam on May 22, 1965. The alpha chapter is at SUNY Geneseo. At one point there were nine chapters, which formed an alliance called the Confederation of Sig Tau.
The brothers moved into 59 Elm Street in 1968. The fraternity went bankrupt in 1974 for "a variety of reasons" according to one alumni.
