The Theta Iota Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity was established at SUNY Potsdam on December 6, 1958. Sinfonia is the oldest national professional music fraternity for men. In 2011 the brothers of Phi Mu Alpha were voted in as part of the SUNY Potsdam All-Greek Council.
