Cystic Fibrosis is a life threatening disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. Just two generations ago, most children with CF didn't life long enough to attend elementary school. Much progress has been made toward finding a cure for CF, but the CF Foundation's work is far from over as we continue to lose precious lives to this disease every day. While Claire looks like a very healthy little girl, she endures several treatments daily to maintain healthy lungs and digestion and germs are her enemy.
