Omicron Pi Omicron Fraternity

ΟΠΟ
Since 1903

On November 9th, 1903 the idea of starting a fraternity at Clarkson was considered by a group of seven underclassmen. The idea was kept a secret. In February 1904 at an 8:15am chapel service, the members of Omicron Pi Omicron showed up proudly wearing their fraternity badges. Clarkson had 56 students at this time and this was the first Greek social organization at the college.

In 1916 they merged with Kappa Epsilon Phi Fraternity, founded at Clarkson in 1915.

They first lived at 53 Elm Street (now the home of Delta Kappa Theta Fraternity) and in 1918 they purchased the house at 95 Market Street and in 1958 they purchased their current home at 14 Leroy Street which was accepted into the national Register of Historic Places in 2013.
