Theta Phi Alpha

ΘΦΑ
Since 1997

Local sorority Chi Delta Sigma was founded at Clarkson on October 22, 1997 by six women. In order to continue to be recognized by Clarkson, in 2002 the sisters agreed to work towards affiliating with a national sorority. They became a colony of Theta Phi Alpha on January 8, 2005 and 23 members were installed as the Gamma Mu chapter on May 20, 2006. They purchased 30 Elm Street (the home of Lambda Iota/Delta Upsilon from 1922 to 2008) in 2017.

  1. Theta Phi Alpha's legal name is Theta Phi Alpha (does not include sorority). Also to be accurate, Theta Phi Alpha is a Fraternity for women. The national organization's website is ThetaPhiAlpha.org

Thanks for including our chapter's history on your website!
